What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar tech includes local storage, session storage, and pixels. We use "cookies" as a shorthand for these tools.
How we use them
Strictly necessary
- Security and load balancing
- Remembering essential preferences if we add them
- Keeping the site working
Functional
- Calculator UI preferences (for example last-used layout) may use local storage on your device only
Analytics (if enabled)
- Understanding which pages are used, basic performance metrics, and error rates via privacy-conscious analytics where configured
Marketing (if enabled)
- Measuring campaigns or affiliate clicks. We will not enable this class without updating this policy and, where required, consent controls.
Local calculator data
Values you type into calculators generally stay in the page session or local storage on your device so the UI can remember inputs. They are not the same as advertising cookies and are not sent to us unless we clearly launch a save-to-cloud feature later.
Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the site. For more on privacy rights, see the Privacy Policy.
Updates
If we change cookie use in a material way, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date.
