Respect for copyright
Trading Tools respects intellectual property. We respond to valid notices of alleged copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) and similar laws where applicable.
File a DMCA notice
Send a written notice to our designated agent at dmca@tradingtools.network that includes:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed (or a representative list if multiple works)
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with URL(s) sufficient for us to locate it
- Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email)
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner
Incomplete notices may delay or prevent action. Misrepresentation can create liability under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f).
What we do
Upon a valid notice, we may remove or disable access to the material and notify the user who posted it (if applicable). Repeat infringers may lose access to the services.
Counter-notification
If you believe material was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to dmca@tradingtools.network including:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or any district where Trading Tools may be found if outside the US), and that you will accept service of process from the original complainant
We may restore the material if the copyright claimant does not seek a court order within the statutory period.
